Nominations for the Peace Wapiti Public School Division’s Board Trustees were held yesterday, September 20, and 13 nominations were received for the nine different wards.
Six wards were acclaimed by their nominees:
Ward 2 – Bonanza/Savanna/Spirit River Blaine Riding
Ward 3 – Beaverlodge/Elmworth Lori Grant
Ward 4 – Hythe/LaGlace Dwayne Speager
Ward 6 – Sexsmith/Teepee Creek Dale Crane
Ward 8 – Ridgevalley Mildred (Millie) Turner
Ward 9 – Clairmont/Bezanson Dana McIntosh
Wards 1, 5, and 7 received multiple nominations and the election for these wards will be held on Monday, October 18, 2021.
