PWPSD’s Indigenous Education Services welcomes Jackie Benning as temporary lead

Peace Wapiti Public School Division (PWPSD)’s Indigenous Education Services team is excited to welcome back Jackie Benning as its temporary lead.

Ms. Benning, member of the Métis Nation of Alberta, has been with PWPSD in a variety of capacities since 2012. She began her career at Clairmont Community School where she taught Grade 4, and was a part of the Indigenous Education Services team during the 2021-2022 school year. Ms. Benning says she is excited to continue to support the team and the work it does in schools throughout the division.
