Nominations for the Peace Wapiti Public School Division’s Board Trustees were held today and 13 nominations were received for the nine different wards.
Six wards were acclaimed by their nominees:
Ward 2 – Bonanza/Savanna/Spirit River Blaine Riding
Ward 3 – Beaverlodge/Elmworth Lori Grant
Ward 4 – Hythe/LaGlace Dwayne Speager
Ward 6 – Sexsmith/Teepee Creek Dale Crane
Ward 8 – Ridgevalley Mildred (Millie) Turner
Ward 9 – Clairmont/Bezanson Dana McIntosh
Wards 1, 5, and 7 received multiple nominations and the election for these wards will be held on Monday, October 18, 2021.
