ASCA School Council Engagement Opportunity
Saturday, November 27 between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., parents/guardians, school staff and members of the public are invited to attend an Alberta School Councils’ Association (ASCA) engagement opportunity via Zoom. The session will focus on important topics like the current education environment, the Assurance Framework, and the draft K-6 curriculum.
Participation is free for all PWPSD parents/guardians and staff. Those who would like to attend should visit the ASCA website to book their spot and receive the Zoom link.
Alberta Education Information Session and Survey
Alberta Education invites you to get involved and voice your opinion on the draft K-6 curriculum at their virtual information session on Wednesday, December 8 at 7:00 p.m. The event will be hosted by Alberta Education staff and is open to everyone. Participants can register for the event by visiting the Alberta Education website.
Parents/guardians, teachers, members of school councils and school boards, and the general public are also invited to complete an online survey. The survey asks for opinions on the strengths and opportunities for improvement of, as well as general comments on, the draft K-6 curriculum. The survey will be available to complete online until February 2022.
