All Our Ideas

We want to express our sincere appreciation for your active participation in this online conversation about junior high programming, and for all of the input received through the All Our Ideas tool.

 

In early February, we noticed that the number of new ideas slowed down substantially. Instead, we saw an increase in comments and other perspectives about the three scenarios under consideration (click here for more information).

 

We also saw input that was making some of our community members uncomfortable. This is a tough conversation because it matters. It was also important that we heard from everyone affected by this decision and that everyone who wanted to participate in this conversation felt safe and welcome.

 

This tool was closed on Friday, February 3, 2023 at 4:00 p.m., so that we could start looking at all the ideas and comments received in preparation for our community conversations, which were held February 14-16.

 

All of the comments, suggestions, and perspectives shared throughout this process (through individual emails, online survey, All Our Ideas, and our community conversations) are being collated and shared with the Peace Wapiti Public School Division Board of Trustees for consideration as they make the tough decisions in front of them about how best to support all students into the future.

 

Thank you very much for your participation in this conversation. Your voice is an integral part of this conversation to ensure the Board of Trustees makes informed and thoughtful decisions.
